The Jewish Genealogy Society of Pittsburgh will host the event "Family at Your Fingertips" on Sunday October 29, 2017 - 10:30am-12:30pm , at the Rauh Jewish Archives Detre Library 6th floor Reading Room in the Heinz History Center, 1212 Smallman St. in the Strip District. Admission free.

About the Event
The Jewish Genealogy Society of Pittsburgh will host the event "Family at Your Fingertips" on Sunday October 29, 2017 - 10:30am-12:30pm , at the Rauh Jewish Archives Detre Library 6th floor Reading Room in the Heinz History Center, 1212 Smallman St. in the Strip District. Admission free.
Presenters will discuss current trends in genealogical research such as DNA testing, online resources for vital records, burials, naturalizations, and newspaper entries, and ways to share and collect information, all from one's personal computer.
The mission of the Jewish Genealogy Society of Pittsburgh is to provide a means for our members and the community at large to reconnect with their Jewish roots in Southwestern Pennsylvania, as well as in the countries and regions in which their families previously lived.
